Anticorpii anti-centromer sunt \u00eendrepta\u0163i \u00een principal \u00eempotriva a 3 proteine localizate \u00een zona centromeric\u0103 a cromozomilor: CENP-A, CENP-B \u015fi CENP-C.<\/p>\n

Anticorpii anti-centromer constituie un marker serologic pentru sindromul CREST, o form\u0103 limitat\u0103 de sclerodermie (prevalen\u0163a 70-90%). Clinic, sindromul CREST se caracterizeaz\u0103 prin: calcific\u0103ri cutanate, sindrom Raynaud, tulbur\u0103ri de motilitate a esofagului, sclerodactilie, telangiectazii. Anticorpii anti-Scl-70 sunt foarte rar depista\u0163i la ace\u015fti pacien\u0163i. Spre deosebire de pacien\u0163ii cu scleroz\u0103 sistemic\u0103 \u015fi anti-Scl-70 pozitivi, pacien\u0163ii av\u00e2nd anticorpi anti-centromer au \u00een general o evolu\u0163ie benign\u0103 a bolii \u015fi un prognostic relativ favorabil. Cu toate acestea, s-a constat c\u0103 detectarea anticorpilor anti-centromer \u00eempreun\u0103 cu anticorpii anti-histone reprezint\u0103 un factor de risc pentru afectare vascular\u0103 \u015fi pulmonar\u0103 sever\u0103.<\/p>\n

Acest tip de autoanticorpi mai poate ap\u0103rea \u00een sindromul Raynaud \u015fi \u00een ciroza biliar\u0103 primitiv\u0103.<\/div>\n
Detectarea anticorpilor anti- centromer la pacien\u0163ii cu sindrom Raynaud are o valoare predictiv\u0103\u00a0pozitiv\u0103 mare pentru apari\u0163ia altor\u00a0simptome asociate sclerodermiei.<\/div>\n
\u00cen 10-20% din cazuri, ace\u015fti anticorpi pot ap\u0103rea \u00een ciroza biliar\u0103 primitiv\u0103, \u00een special la persoanele care prezint\u0103 concomitent \u015fi simptome asociate sclerodermiei3<\/sup>.<\/div>\n
