Detectarea anticorpilor serici anti-eritropoietina este recomandat\u0103 pentru diagnosticarea anemiei eritrocitare aplastice, post terapie cu eritropoietina recombinant\u0103 la pacien\u021bii cu boala cronic\u0103 renal\u0103, dializa\u021bi, posttransplant, infecta\u021bi HIV, neoplazici, postchimioterapie.<\/p>\n
Eritropoietina uman\u0103 recombinant\u0103 (rHuEPO) se administreaz\u0103 pacien\u021bilor care au niveluri mai sc\u0103zute de hemoglobin\u0103 din cauza incapacit\u0103\u021bii lor de a produce suficient\u0103 eritropoietin\u0103 endogen\u0103.Cazurile de aplazie eritrocitara pura (PRCA) a crescut datorit\u0103 dezvolt\u0103rii anticorpilor neutralizan\u021bi \u00eempotriva EPO endogen\u0103 dar \u0219i a agen\u021bilor recombinanti de stimulare a eritropoiezei (ESA). Majoritatea acestora au fost depsistate in cazul administrarii de rHuEPO pentru tratarea anemiei asociate cu bolile cronice renale.<\/p>\n
Dezvoltarea autoanticorpilor \u00eempotriva EPO endogen\u0103 la pacien\u021bii care nu au fost niciodat\u0103 trata\u021bi cu ESA este foarte rar\u0103. PRCA este un tip de anemie ce poate fi asociat si cu infec\u021bii virale, sarcin\u0103, malignitatea, expunere toxica \u0219i alte efecte medicamentoase. Caracteristicile distincte ale PRCA asociate cu rHuEPO includ rezisten\u021b\u0103 sever\u0103 la rHuEPO, dependen\u021ba de transfuziile de s\u00e2nge, feritin\u0103 seric\u0103 crescuta, m\u0103duva osoas\u0103 apastica (absen\u021ba precursorilor eritrocitari) \u0219i prezen\u021ba anticorpilor anti-rHuEPO.<\/p>\n
