Receptorii pentru acetilcolin\u0103 sunt localiza\u0163i \u00een membrana postsinaptic\u0103 a fibrelor musculare scheletice. Ace\u015ftia fixeaz\u0103 acetilcolina eliberat\u0103 de termina\u0163iile nervoase determin\u00e2nd contrac\u0163ia muscular\u0103 atunci c\u00e2nd cantitatea de acetilcolin\u0103 eliberat\u0103 este suficient\u0103.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Anticorpii anti-receptori acetilcolin\u0103 interfer\u0103 cu func\u0163ia neuromuscular\u0103, consecin\u0163a fiind oboseala muscular\u0103 \u015fi fatigabilitate<sup>2,4<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Prevalen\u0163a bolii este de 5 la 100.000 de locuitori \u015fi poate debuta la orice v\u00e2rst\u0103. Anticorpii tind s\u0103 creasc\u0103 cu c\u00e2teva s\u0103pt\u0103m\u00e2ni \u00eenainte de apari\u0163ia simptomelor. Titrul de anticorpi are tendin\u0163a de a fi mai mare la femei \u015fi se constat\u0103 o corela\u0163ie \u00eentre nivelul anticorpilor \u015fi intensitatea sl\u0103biciunii musculare<sup>2<\/sup>.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Anticorpii anti-receptor pentru acetilcolina mai pot s\u0103 creasc\u0103 \u00een timoame necomplicate, sindromul miastenic Lambert Eaton, pacien\u0163ii cu cancer pulmonar primar \u015fi la pacien\u0163ii cu afec\u0163iuni hepatice autoimune<sup>2<\/sup>.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Remisiunea dup\u0103 timectomie este asociat\u0103 cu sc\u0103derea progresiv\u0103 a titrului de anticorpi (utilitate crescut\u0103 \u00een monitorizarea postoperatorie)<sup>2<\/sup> .<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>Limite \u015fi interferen\u0163e<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rezultate fals pozitive se pot ob\u0163ine la pacien\u0163ii care \u00een ultimele 48 ore \u00eenaintea recolt\u0103rii au suferit o anestezie general\u0103 sau c\u0103rora li s-au adminstrat relaxante musculare.
