Impreuna cu anticorpii anti-Saccharomyces cerevisiae (ASCA) si p-ANCA sunt utili in diferenterea serologica a bolii Crohn de colita ulceroasa<sup>1<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Prevalenta anticorpilor impotriva pancreasului exocrin in boala Crohn este in medie 39%; \u00a0aceasta creste la 50% in cazul unei evolutii a bolii de peste 2 ani. In colita ulceroasa prezenta acestor anticorpi este redusa iar in alte boli inflamatorii nu a fost demonstrata<sup>1;2;3<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>In ceea ce priveste tinta antigenica, s-a dovedit ca anticorpii anti-acini pancreatici recunosc o proteina macromoleculara &gt; 800 kD tripsin-sensibila din secretia pancreatica. Implicarea directa a acestora in patogenia bolii Crohn nu a fost sustinuta de studiile efectuate. Se pare ca nu exista o corelatie a acestor anticorpi cu activitatea sau localizarea bolii insa se asociaza cu un debut precoce<sup>2<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Desi sensibilitatea testului este redusa, specificitatea acestuia este inalta, astfel ca poate fi utilizat pentru documentarea diagnosticului la pacientii cu suspiciune clinica de boala Crohn fara anticorpi circulanti ASCA.
